Digital industries gather in Guiyang, Guian

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is now home to 5,000 big data companies. With the development of the big data industry, Guiyang has become the city with the most big data pilot projects in China.

From 2017 to 2021, the revenue of Guiyang and Guian New Area's software and information technology service industry had an average annual growth rate of 38.7 percent, the total output value of electronic information manufacturing industry had an average annual growth rate of 9.3 percent, and the added value of digital economy accounted for more than 40 percent of GDP.

In 2021, Guiyang and Guian launched 318 big data integration projects and helped 1,113 companies integrate big data into their operations.

In the future, Guiyang and Guian will create three industrial clusters for data centers, intelligent manufacturing, and data application to expand the scale of digital economy and green economy.
