Tianjin’s Baodi district has recently signed off on 27 projects with total investments amounting to 12.36 billion yuan ($1.93 billion) via virtual ceremony. Located in northern Tianjin, it is a hub of Beijing, Tianjin and Tangshan, Hebei province.
Yin Xiangjie, Party chief of the district, said the projects are the result of the district's efforts to take right approaches to challenges and opportunities, learning from more developed areas, meeting investors' needs and adopting new philosophies.
To further improve the district’s environment, he proposed more emphasis given to deepen reforms in government functions, complete service system and create a more convenient, service environment for enterprises.
He called for the adaption of COVID-19 prevention and control and further integration into the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional development. Infrastructure and public service will accommodate more high-end projects and talents.
Local government will provide financial, technological, labor and legal service and help that cover the whole process from project opening, construction to operation. A channel is to be established to directly deliver government policies to enterprises.
