Tai'an launches 99 key projects

Tai'an in Shandong province held a launch ceremony for 99 key projects spanning 13 industrial chains on March 16.

The main venue for the digital economy was located in Daiyue district, and it was connected via video calls to 12 sub-venues for 12 other industrial chains, including power transmission, wire and cable, new energy, mining equipment and construction machinery, automotive parts, and medicine and medical devices.

Twenty-eight of the 99 projects totaling 39.47 billion yuan ($6.2 billion) garnered investments of more than 500 million yuan each.

The key projects are projected to strengthen Tai'an's economic high-quality growth by improving the city's industrial structure, speed up industry upgrading, and increase economic accumulation.
