Despite the fact that it is bitterly cold outside, spring is in the air among the cherry blossoms at greenhouses in Daiyue district, Tai'an, East China's Shandong province.
"This year's cherry blossoms bloomed later than in previous years due to the cold weather. The greenhouses' cherries are expected to be available in early April," a worker at the greenhouse said.
In recent years, multiple cherry planting bases have been constructed in Daiyue district, serving as a driving force for local tourism.
