A batch of anti-COVID-19 pandemic materials donated by Guangxi organizations to Hong Kong departed from Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on March 27 to help Hong Kong's fight against the pandemic.
The donation was initiated by the Guangxi Overseas Chinese Kind Foundation and it included COVID-19 detection reagents for 20,000 people, 110,000 KN95 adult masks, and 11,000 masks for children.
Wei Jiawei, president of the Guangxi Overseas Chinese Kind Foundation, noted that Hong Kong residents in recent years have been making donations to help Guangxi's public service activities and that Guangxi is willing to team with Hong Kong to win its current fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
