The Suzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute in Xushuguan town, Suzhou New District, recently put forward a series of intelligent robots to help with epidemic prevention and control work.
Intelligent guide robots are placed at the information desk in various quarantine hotels, reminding people to check their temperatures, present their health QR codes, and take care of check-in procedures.
The disinfection robots, which are equipped with aerosol sprays and ultraviolet lights, can be controlled remotely and work round the clock. The robot will automatically return to the base for charging and to refill disinfectant.
Two robots can also team up to help collect and transport garbage at quarantine hotels, with the upper one able to use its "arm" to grab and hold up to five kilograms of garbage and the lower one able to take a lift and get garbage to designated locations.
A kind of robot shaped like a dog can deliver meals and other daily necessities to quarantined people, ensuring that there is no human contact in the process.
