Wuxi, Peking University to deepen cooperation

Wuxi and Peking University hosted a forum to discuss further cooperation in Beijing on March 11.

Peking University President Hao Ping welcomed the Wuxi delegation led by Du Xiaogang, Part secretary of Wuxi.

Hao said that Peking University has always attached importance to its cooperation with Wuxi. The university is willing to take the cooperation between the Future Institute of Technology of Peking University and Wuxi as a starting point to continue to deepen cooperation with the city in production, education, research and application and make more contributions to the country's economic and social development.

Du spoke highly of the Future Institute of Technology of Peking University, which was built in June 2021 with the aim of developing future leaders in technological innovation.

Wuxi National Hi-tech District signed a talent project to cooperate with the Future Institute of Technology of Peking University during the 2021 Taihu Talent Summit in October. The institute will develop high-end talent, focusing on future life health and disease prevention technology while relying on industry-university-research innovation projects and national major engineering tasks and making use of comprehensive resources such as research bases and high-tech enterprises.
