Anta Sports, China's largest sportswear company, posted robust performance in 2021 with its operating revenue reaching a record high.
The Fujian-based company raked in a total of 49.33 billion yuan (about $7.76 billion) in revenue last year, surging by 38.9 percent year-on-year, sustaining growth for the eighth consecutive year, according to its annual financial results filed with Hong Kong stock exchange on Tuesday.
Anta and Fila, the core brands of Anta Group, reported revenue of 24.01 and 21.82 billion yuan respectively. Besides, other Anta Sports subsidiary brands such as DESCENTE and KOLON SPORT have seen great growth momentum in 2021.
"By 2025, through the multi-brand strategy, ANTA Group will strive to hold the No. 1 market share in China, and by 2030, strive to achieve global leadership," said Zheng Jie, executive board director for ANTA's branding.
Headquartered in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, Anta Sports was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2007.
