SAIC Roewe started presales of a coupe SUV called Jing on Thursday, priced from 166,800 yuan to 192,800 yuan.
The model, whose name literally means Whale, is available in three variants, each of which features a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine.
Coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it generates a maximum output of 231 horsepower and a top torque of 370 Nm.
Though gasoline-powered, SAIC Roewe said the model has smart functions comparable to those of electric vehicles.
It is equipped with 29 pieces of radar and a Qualcomm 8155 chip. Besides the commonplace L2 driving-assist functions, the model has navigation and automatic parking capabilities.
