The number of serious cases increased by 4.

As of 24:00 on March 19, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 16,840 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 14,870 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,970 confirmed cases (including 1 case in serious condition) and 10 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on March 19, the National Health Commission had received reports of 130,199 confirmed cases and 4,638 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 105,575 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 19,986 confirmed cases (including 35 cases in serious condition) and 10 suspected cases. 2,022,712 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 317,145 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on March 19, 16,196 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,695 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on March 19, 297,649 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 275,783 in Hong Kong (5,650 had died and 33,651 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 82 in Macao (79 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 21,784 in Taiwan (853 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
