Beijing's Qinghang Daxing rocket undergoes test launch

The Qinghang Aerospace Technology Co, a key enterprise in the Beijing China-Japan International Cooperation Industrial Park, conducted a flight test for a new kind of engine on Jan 24.

The flight was completed with the help of the Qinghang Daxing booster rocket, whose engine worked stably within a predetermined altitude and speed range. Tsinghua University independently proposed the overall launch plan.

The park, located in Beijing's Daxing district, is the first innovation-driven multinational park approved by the National Development and Reform Commission.

It is expected to carry out a new round of protection of property rights and promotion of international innovation systems to ensure the high-quality development of high-end technological enterprises.
