The X8155 China-Europe freight train departed from the Xi'an International Port Station and headed for Malaszewicze, Poland on March 10, loaded with 50 containers of masks, plastic products, hats, liquid crystal display screens, and glass bottles.
It was the Xi'an China-Europe freight train's 600th trip this year.
The Xi'an International Port Station is the departure station of the freight train and is located in the Xi'an international Trade and Logistics Park in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.
Since the beginning of this year, export transportation channels have been affected to a certain extent by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the operator of the freight train, China Railway Xi'an Group Co has overcome the impact of the pandemic and strengthened its transportation organization, providing strong capacity support to help major enterprises maintain exports.
In 2021, the China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) made a total of 3,841 trips, accounting for a quarter of that of freight train trips in the country.
