Entrepreneur conference in Foshan promotes entrepreneurship, high-quality development

On March 13, the Foshan Entrepreneurs Conference 2022 was held in Foshan's Chancheng district, giving a powerful message to the entire society to honor entrepreneurs and support businesses in order to encourage Foshan's high-quality development.

Tu Gaokun, head of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province expressed that Foshan is a highland for manufacturing and an appealing place for entrepreneurs. 

In recent years, Foshan has made great efforts to promote the high-quality development in the manufacturing industry and has gained outstanding achievements. Foshan municipal government's endeavors of promoting services for enterprises have also created a favorable business environment for enterprises. 

In the future, the department will join hands with the majority of entrepreneurs and the Foshan municipal government, and follow the "1+1+9" work deployment of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee to take a new path of high-quality economic development.

Zheng Ke, secretary of the CPC Foshan Municipal Party Committee, said that entrepreneurs are the top contributors that promote the development of Foshan's enterprises, and also the pioneers that lead Foshan in reform and opening-up.

First, Foshan should make the pursuit of people-oriented values a shared goal, inherit and develop the entrepreneurial spirit, and devote themselves to noble causes in order to create a competitive business climate.

Second, Foshan should follow the same development strategy and work together with all walks of life to implement the requirements of "New Development Stage, New Development Philosophy, New Development Layout, High-quality Development", and take the "515" high-quality development strategic goal as an action plan to implement the new development concept, so as to find the focal point of developing enterprises.

Third, continue on the same development route in order to accelerate business growth. The government and businesses should collaborate to empower development through innovation, invest with a more positive attitude in the era of digital and intelligent transformation, actively improve the quality and efficiency of stocks and inefficient land, and improve the corporate governance concept and mechanism.

Fourth, in the face of today's challenges, entrepreneurs must keep strategic focus and contribute to the preservation of a stable and healthy economic environment. To build a first-class business climate, the Foshan municipal government will continue to promote businesses and pledge to achieve "zero distance" in government-enterprise communication.

Hu Tai, head of the Standing Committee of the Foshan Municipal People's Congress announced that Sept 27 will be Foshan's "Entrepreneur Day" and "Talent Day".
