Shinan aims to beautify bay area

Government officials from Shinan district in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province held a working conference with Qingdao Tourism Group on Feb 19 and rolled out a series of measures to promote the tourism resources in Shinan.

Shinan, a seaside tourist area in Qingdao, will support the growth of the maritime cultural tourist industry by combining tourism and culture.

Shinan will accelerate the promotion of the environment and publicity of scenic spots and build more 5A-level scenic spots. For example, the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center will integrate AR, VR, and naked-eye 3D technologies to enhance tourists' experiences of various culture and tourism projects.

Shinan will host a number of events in 2022, including the 2022 Art Fair and the International Violin Competition. Shinan will use the events to start a series of themed performances and displays aimed at boosting the tourism industry.

Shinan will also continue to promote marriage tourism by merging with the maritime industry and expanding partnerships with domestic and international wedding titans.
