Suzhou in East China's Jiangsu province issued the first business license compliant with the latest regulations regarding market registration to a company on March 1.
The new regulations took effect on the same day.
These unified regulations pertaining to the registration and management of all types of market players are the first of their kind in China and are aimed at making registration processes more unified.
Five original regulations, including the Regulations on the Administration of Company Registration and the Regulations on the Administration of Registration of Enterprise Legal Persons, have been abolished.
Suzhou New District has in recent years taken multiple measures to improve market access and promote the development of market players.
In addition to online service channels, the district has also integrated multiple departments, such as social security, provident fund, and medical insurance, to help local residents manage their affairs more conveniently.
