On March 7, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 325 new cases of confirmed infections (150 imported cases, 47 in Guangdong province, 36 in Shanghai municipality, 21 in Beijing municipality, 17 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 11 in Shandong province, 7 in Gansu province, 3 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Sichuan province, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Heilongjiang province, 1 in Fujian province and 1 in Yunnan province, including 13 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 5 in Guangdong, 3 in Guangxi, 2 in Zhejiang, 2 in Sichuan and 1 in Shandong; 175 indigenous cases, 46 in Jilin province including 28 in Jilin city, 17 in Changchun and 1 in Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, 45 in Guangdong including 31 in Dongguan, 13 in Shenzhen and 1 in Huizhou, 31 in Shandong including 29 in Qingdao and 2 in Weihai, 10 in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province, 10 in Gansu including 5 in Lanzhou, 3 in Lanzhou New Area, 1 in Baiyin and 1 in Jiuquan, 5 in Yunnan including 3 in Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture and 2 in Kunming, 5 in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, 4 in Hebei province including 2 in Shijiazhuang and 2 in Xingtai, 4 in Shanghai including 3 in Xuhui district and 1 in Putuo district, 4 in Quzhou, Zhejiang, 3 in Tianjin including 2 in Dongli district and 1 in Beichen district, 3 in Shenyang, Liaoning, 2 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 1 in Haidian district, Beijing, 1 in Yuncheng, Shanxi province and 1 in Chongzuo, Guangxi, including 6 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 3 in Jilin province, 2 in Guangdong and 1 in Guangxi), 5 new cases of suspected infections (all were imported cases in Shanghai), and no deaths. 110 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 6,129 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 2.

As of 24:00 on March 7, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 15,606 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 13,221 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 2,385 confirmed cases (including 2 cases in serious condition) and 12 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on March 7, the National Health Commission had received reports of 111,520 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 102,832 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 4,052 confirmed cases (including 9 cases in serious condition) and 12 suspected cases. 1,702,180 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 101,748 were still under medical observation.

On March 7, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 443 new asymptomatic cases (113 imported cases; 330 indigenous cases, 144 in Shandong including 129 in Qingdao, 14 in Weihai and 1 in Yantai, 73 in Dongguan, Guangdong, 51 in Shanghai including 16 in Xuhui district, 13 in Jiading district, 10 in Minhang district, 5 in Baoshan district, 3 in Songjiang district, 2 in Pudong New Area, 1 in Yangpu district and 1 in Jinshan district, 29 in Jilin including 19 in Jilin city, 6 in Changchun, 3 in Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture and 1 in Meihekou, 18 in Yunnan including 15 in Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture, 2 in Lincang and 1 in Kunming, 5 in Shenyang, Liaoning, 5 in Jiangsu including 4 in Lianyungang and 1 in Nantong, 3 in Guangxi including 2 in Fangchenggang and 1 in Baise, 1 in Yuncheng, Shanxi and 1 in Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture, Gansu). 41 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 33 imported cases) and 19 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 13 imported cases). As of 24:00 on March 7, 2,407 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 1,215 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on March 7, 233,065 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 212,114 in Hong Kong (2,287 had died and 22,901 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 82 in Macao (79 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 20,869 in Taiwan (853 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
