A train bound for Moscow carrying engines and LCD screens on Jan 7 departed Dulaying Railway Station in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – marking the latter city's first direct China-Europe freight train sent out in 2022.
According to Guizhou Railway Investment Group Co – operator of Dulaying Railway Station – Guizhou will dispatch three direct China-Europe freight trains to Moscow in January. The company will reportedly provide high-efficiency, convenient and high-quality cross-border logistics service to customers.
Since Guizhou's direct China-Europe freight train debuted in November last year, Guizhou Railway Investment Group Co has worked closely with customs, commerce and railway departments to optimize transportation procedures and guarantee that freight trains operate regularly every month.
Plans are for Guizhou to liaise with China Railway Chengdu Group Co to open more freight routes from Guiyang to Europe and Central Asia.
Guizhou will also reportedly move to integrate freight trade transportation resources, optimize logistics plans for companies, improve the quality of services and market more of the province's goods to the world.
