Six A-level scenic spots in Shanghai's Jiading district received 308,820 visitors during the past Spring Festival holiday, according to the district's culture and tourism authority on Feb 7.
The six A-level scenic spots include Guyi Garden, Zhouqiao Old Street, Nanxiang Ancient Street, Shanghai Auto Expo Park, Shanghai International Circuit, and Hongtai Garden.
In addition, four venues at the Jiading Museum attracted 38,440 visitors during the seven-day holiday with a slew of cultural and handicraft activities such as pitch-pot games and painting ceramic cups.
During the seven-day holiday, the district-level and town-level cultural venues in the district held a total of 335 offline activities such as calligraphy and paper-cutting exhibitions, which received a total of 124,900 visitors.
A total of 142 online activities were also held at the all-level cultural venues in the district during the holiday to enrich people's holiday experiences, attracting 41,100 visitors in total.
During the Spring Festival holiday, the festive atmosphere was of the utmost importance, said Zhu Lin, the activity organizer at the Guyi Garden. The garden integrated both local delicacies and handicraft experiences during the holiday, which seemed please people due to the large amount of visitors.
