SND invigorates semiconductor sector

A semiconductor project operated by Shanghai Jiasu Semiconductor Technology Co Ltd will be established in Suzhou New District in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, expanding the integrated circuit industrial clusters in the district, local media reported on Jan 27.

Shanghai Jiasu Semiconductor Technology Co Ltd specializes in integrated circuits and new energy, providing research and development, pilot-scale experiments and mass production of a series of electronic film forming equipment and systems, as well as total solutions.

According to the cooperation agreement, the company's existing and future shareholding platforms have all been set up in SND. It is expected to become the top-ranking manufacturer of high-end wet and dry film forming equipment and precise vacuum equipment in China and around the world in the next five years, as well as a provider of precise film forming equipment solutions.

Moving forward, SND will further accelerate the gathering of resources in the integrated circuit industry and work to attract more than 300 integrated circuit enterprises in the next three years with an annual output of over 30 billion yuan ($4.71 billion).
