The China Philharmonic Orchestra is calling on musicians from around the world to join its online performance event, as a way to celebrate the Chinese New Year and welcome the Beijing Winter Olympic Games. More than 100 noted artists from across the world actively participated in the event.
Two featured pieces, Spring Festival Overture and Les Patineurs, express the ideas of peace, development, youth, health, and environmental protection to the world through musical performances.
Musicians from all over the world conveyed their Spring Festival greetings and wished Beijing Winter Olympic Games full success.
Short videos of the two featured pieces will be presented online through social media platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.
