Lantern fair kicks off in Xinjiang

To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, a lantern fair has opened in Shuimogou Park in Urumqi, Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Running till April 6, the fair has colorful lanterns, creating a festive atmosphere amid the water mist of the Shuimo River.
