Jiufo thrives with emerging industries

Jiufo sub-district of the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City is booming in development with its emerging industries such as biomedicine, integrated circuits, and high-end manufacturing.

Jiufo is home to South China's largest integrated circuit industrial base which boasts an integrated development of chip design, wafer fabrication, package testing, and terminal application. Construction of the Guangzhou CanSemi Technology's Phase II has recently come into operation in a local semiconductor industrial park.

The international biomedical value innovation park in the sub-district has gathered a great number of heavyweight projects including those invested by GE, InnoCare Pharma, and BeiGene. Construction of BeiGene's fourth plant began there in 2021. Once the enterprise's Guangzhou production base comes into operation, it will top China or even Asia in production capability of self-developed biological medicine.

Meanwhile, the high-end manufacturing industrial park in Jiufo houses the new Procter & Gamble intelligent manufacturing center, Guangzhou Baiyun Pump Group's second phase, Skyworth's ultra-high definition display science and technology industrial park, and Guangzhou Folunsi Garment's W&W smart valley.
