Produced by the Guizhou Provincial Drama Troupe, the drama The Heart of Light was staged in Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province on Dec 31. It adopts a fresh artistic style to depict the tortuous life story of Wang Yangming (1472-1529), an important Neo-Confucian thinker during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
