Biomedical and Environmental Sciences (BES) is a peer-reviewed comprehensive medical journal sponsored by the China CDC.

BES focuses on population health problems induced by biological, nutritional, environmental/ecological and physical/chemical factors.

In recently published papers it has covered the areas of epidemiology, nutrition and food hygiene, environmental sanitation and environmental medicine, adolescent health, occupational health, radiological health, maternal and child health, and health management.
