The signing ceremony for an acoustic sensing technology project was held at the Gangzha Economic Development Zone, or GZEDZ, located in Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Dec 24.
The project was invested by Nantong Acoustic Sensing Technology Co Ltd with 200 million yuan ($31.48 million). Nantong Acoustic Sensing Technology is engaged in research and development of acoustical devices, and providing customized solutions in the field of acoustical devices.
The main products include receivers, speakers, microphones, buzzers and related accessories, widely used in consumer electronics, medical hearing aids and other fields.
The company is the only domestic enterprise with independent intellectual property rights and large-scale mass production of moving iron units. It has more than 200 patents in the field of moving iron, and over 100 patents under application.
Nantong Acoustic Sensing Technology established a research and development center in Shenzhen in South China's Guangdong province, and production bases in Shenzhen and Suzhou – a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu province.
After completion and reaching its design capacity, the project will generate output value of over 400 million yuan a year, contribute to the high-quality economic development of GZEDZ.
