The 2021 World 5G Convention was held from Aug 31 to Sept 2, 2021 in Beijing.

The World 5G Convention is the world's first international event aimed squarely at developing the 5G industry. Experts, scholars and executives from around the world are cordially invited to this premier event, which brings together leading tech companies and research institutes to create a first-class global platform for 5G technology exchange, resource sharing and industrial cooperation in a professional, open and inclusive manner.

The event consists of three sections: a comprehensive forum, exhibitions, and application unveiling contest. The comprehensive forum consists of an opening ceremony, main forum, seminars, theme forums and a closing ceremony. At the convention, the latest cutting-edge technologies, products and applications will be displayed.

The event is co-hosted by the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, and co-organized by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Management Committee of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, and FuTURE Mobile Communication Forum.
