Four quality traveling routes around the Grand Canal lead to Yangzhou

Five quality traveling routes around the Grand Canal in Jiangsu were recently selected by the Jiangsu provincial tourism bureau, with four of them leading to Yangzhou.

This activity is to propel tourism products development and images promotion, and to fully use the cultural value of the Grand Canal's successful application as a World Heritage site.

The five quality traveling routes cover eight cities along the Grand Canal, and also many famous scenic spots.

They include a three-day tour in Yangzhou, Zhenjiang and Changzhou, a three-day tour in Suqian and Huai'an, a four-day tour in Xuzhou, Yangzhou, and Suzhou, a four-day tour in Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Yangzhou, Taizhou and Wuxi, and a five-day tour in Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, Wuxi and Suzhou.

The city of Yangzhou, as "the First City along the Grand Canal", is included in the four-day tours. "Yangzhou is located in the central position of the Jiangsu part of the Grand Canal, and with rich tourism resources and famous scenic spots, it's an ideal spot for tourists", one person working in Yangzhou's tourism industry said.
