FAW's premium arm Hongqi delivered 100 H9 sedans on Friday to North China's Zhangjiahou, one of the three competition zones hosting the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
This is part of a deal inked between Hongqi and the authorities in Zhangjiakou on the same day.
Among other things, the carmaker will help provide vehicles needed for major events held in the city, according to the deal.
The two sides have started their cooperation before the deal. Last month, Hongqi brought a skiing competition into the city that boasts excellent ski resorts.
Established in 1958, Hongqi is the oldest Chinese premium brand in the country, and its vehicles have been used in parades for national celebrations.
Hongqi sold 261,400 vehicles in the first 11 months this year, marking a rise of 46.7 percent from the same period last year.
