"Dream in China" online activity of Int'l talents enters enterprises

On Nov 27, the "Dream in China" online activity of international talents was launched.

It was organized by the CSCSE of the Ministry of Education (Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange) and Beijing Shenmo Education.

The event is aimed at international students in China, with the theme of abacus culture experience and international students' entrepreneurship program. It attracted more than 80 international students from 43 countries in Asia, Africa, South America, Europe, and Oceania studying in 19 universities in various provinces in China.

This event is specially designed by the CSCSE and Shenmo Education for the international students in China in the direction of "Entrepreneurship". At the beginning, Director Hansen of the CSCSE addressed the event and introduced the diversified services provided by the CSCSE for international students in China.

Although the event is online, an "Abacus" has brought everyone closer. Before the start of the activity, every student registered in China received an "abacus" gift from Shenmo. With curiosity about the unknown abacus, the students easily mastered the abacus and mental math within half an hour, personally experiencing the magic of abacus.

After the experience, Shenmo invited the principal of the Rwanda Shenmo school, to share the process how he encountered Shenmo and received training while studying in China, and how he returned to Rwanda to start up a Shenmo Abacus Mental Math School in Rwanda after graduation. Through the real story of Peter, the students understood how to bring abacus mental math education to their countries through entrepreneurship.

This activity is just a beginning. In the future, the CSCSE will cooperate with Shenmo Education to organize diversified online and offline cultural experience activities, visits to the Abacus Museum and other activities for international students in China, to provide more opportunities in the direction of "Entrepreneurship", and to make joint efforts for the global promotion of Chinese abacus culture.

Abacus belongs to not only China, but also the world. Abacus is also a valuable cultural and educational project that benefits the children of the world under the background of the "Community of Human Destiny". It needs join hands with international students from all over the world to promote abacus education and culture to all over the world through entrepreneurship, and benefit more children.
