A total of 22 winter tourism routes were recently unveiled in Beijing.
They feature skiing, hiking, self-driving and gourmet food elements, and cover popular tourist sites across the capital city.
Beijing will also host a series of winter sports, celebrations, Olympic culture and fun events from the end of November to mid-February, to upgrade winter consumption, according to local authorities.
A winter carnival festival kicked off in late November in Yanqing district, where visitors can enjoy about 60 distinctive winter experiences, including winter sports and gourmet local food.
