The China International Import Expo Bureau on Aug 26 held an online roadshow for the trade in services exhibition of the fourth CIIE, which will take place from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai.

The event provided details about the fourth expo's advantages and highlights of the trade in services exhibition area. Nearly 200 professional visitors from the testing and inspection sector, such as China Certification and Inspection Group Hubei Co, and IPC (Qingdao) Training and Certification Co, attended the event online.

A number of exhibitors presented their plans for this year's expo. Dun & Bradstreet, a leading global provider of commercial data, analytics, and insights for businesses, will debut a solution that uses big data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to help companies build a stable and competitive supply chain, according to Wu Guangyu, managing director of Dun & Bradstreet China.

Swiss multinational SGS, which specializes in providing testing, inspection, and certification services, will bring a wide range of products and solutions related to carbon reduction, cleanrooms, as well as renewable and biodegradable textiles, said Zhang Xiaosong, director of light industry product service at SGS China.

SGS, which has taken part in the CIIE since the inaugural edition in 2018, has been reaping the benefits of its involvement. Following the first CIIE, SGS cooperated with the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone in Zhoushan to build a flow measurement laboratory. It also cooperated with purchasers in sectors like food, agricultural products, and public health during the later editions.

Germany-based TÜV SÜD will focus on sustainable development and digitalization this year, hoping to raise the brand's profile through the expo, said Jiang Danfeng, director of government relations at TÜV SÜD Greater China.

The CIIE Bureau has already held online roadshows for several exhibition areas, like medical equipment and healthcare products, food and agricultural products, as well as automobile exhibition areas.
