Yield of double-cropping rice expected to make breakthroughs in S China

Good news! The yield of double-cropping rice in the China National Hybrid Rice R&D Center in Huangpu district, Guangzhou, South China’s Guangdong province is expected to reach over 1,500 kilograms per mu (667 sq km). This marks a new stage in agricultural development and a new guarantee for food security in the district.
