Dongli district has established the Tianjin Aerospace Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance with the Civil Aviation University of China, Beihang University, and more than 100 scientific research institutes and leading companies in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
The alliance is aimed at facilitating the industry’s development by boosting innovation, industrial chain, financing, policy, and talents.
Since its establishment nearly a year ago, a total of 150 alliance members, 10 academicians and more than 2,900 scientific researchers have been gathered. They will play important roles in establishing cutting-edge technologies.
Its members have strengthened cooperation on strategic planning, high-end manufacturing, operational safety and other fields, and smart airports, air-ground logistics, and aero engines.
The members have also made efforts to update technologies and devices related to carbon emission.
The alliance has also actively built innovation and entrepreneurship platforms, promoted resources sharing, strengthened investment and talent recruitment. Up to date, it has promoted more than 100 projects, and more than 700 people introduced, over 200 transformed scientific and technological achievements.
