GWM Poer pickups make global premieres at Auto Guangzhou

China's largest pickup and SUV maker Great Wall Motors made the global premieres of its super pickup concept and the King Kong Poer on Friday at the Guangzhou auto show.

The carmaker said the King Kong Poer, also known as King Kong Cannon, have a series of smart features including connectivity.

The super pickup concept is the result of efforts by low-rider fans globally, it said.

Great Wall Motors have sold over 2 million pickups worldwide, becoming the first carmaker globally to reach the milestone.

It now has built a sales and service network of over 2,000 dealerships across the world.

GWM Poer said it will develop new variants of pickups for different groups of customers by incorporating such elements as leisure and fashion.
