Celebrating the 120th anniversary of the birth of Yang Tingyu (1901-82), a master of Chinese architecture in the 20th century, an exhibition themed on his works opened at Jiangsu Art Museum in Nanjing on Nov 21.
Spending more than 30 years in Nanjing since 1946, Yang completed nearly 60 percent of his works in this city and many of them are local landmarks, such as the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Music Stage, the Beijing Railway Station and Yuhuatai Memorial Park of Revolutionary Martyrs.
