GWM's Tank kicks off presales of Tank 500

Tank, a new marque under Great Wall Motors, started presales of its latest Tank 500 SUV on Friday at the Guangzhou auto show.

The model, available in three versions, is priced from 335,000 yuan to 395,000 yuan.

The off-roader has four exterior colors and three interior colors to choose from.

In terms of the number of seats, the model is in five-seat and seven-seat versions.

Tank also started presales of the limited edition Black Warrior version at 365,000 yuan.

The Tank 500 features a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The powertrain enables the model to have a maximum output of 260 kW and a top torque of 500 Nm.

It can accelerate from zero to 100 km/hour in 7.3 seconds but has a fuel consumption of 10.79 liters per 100 km.

It has a new all-terrain system and six driving models. In terms of smart driving, the model has Level 2 driving-assist functions.
