Qingdao Marine Hi-tech Zone

Located at the heart of Qingdao West Coast New Area, Qingdao Marine Hi-tech Zone has a total planned area of 175 square kilometers, of which the area of transformational development covers 55 sq km. The Hi-tech Zone aims to integrate new techniques, new industries, new operating modes and new patterns according to the "One Zone (Marine Vitality Zone) and Two Parks (Marine Equipment Industry Park and Marine Biological Industry Park)" plan and layout.

Focusing on fostering  headquarters economy, green finance, international conventions and expositions, healthcare, marine technology, marine equipment manufacturing, and marine biology, it has built a permanent venue for East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform, forged the "Coast of Exhibition" new image for the West Coast New Area, and constructed "Five Centers", namely, the Headquarters Economic Center, the Green Financial Center, the International Convention and Exhibition Center, the Ecological Leisure Center and the Public Cultural Center of the Marine Vitality Zone as well as one Marine Manufacturing Base.
