Nov 11: Daily briefing on novel coronavirus cases in China

On Nov 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 62 new cases of confirmed infections (15 imported cases, 6 in Yunnan province, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Hubei province, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Guangdong province and 1 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, including 1 confirmed case converting from an asymptomatic case in Guangdong; 47 indigenous cases, 21 in Dalian, Liaoning province, 13 in Henan province including 8 in Zhengzhou and 5 in Zhoukou, 7 in Heihe, Heilongjiang province, 3 in Xinji, Hebei province, 2 in Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture, Yunnan and 1 in Jilin, Jilin province, including 15 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 9 in Henan and 6 in Liaoning), no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 38 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 4,259 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 1.

As of 24:00 on Nov 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 9,809 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 9,417 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 392 confirmed cases (including 3 cases in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 10, the National Health Commission had received reports of 98,001 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 92,119 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,246 confirmed cases (including 20 cases in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases. 1,291,844 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 51,865 were still under medical observation.

On Nov 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 35 new asymptomatic cases (12 imported cases; 23 indigenous cases, 16 in Dalian, Liaoning, 5 in Henan including 3 in Zhengzhou and 2 in Zhoukou, and 2 in Shangrao, Jiangxi province). 10 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 8 imported cases) and 16 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 1 imported case). As of 24:00 on Nov 10, 538 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 357 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 10, 28,907 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 12,374 in Hong Kong (213 had died and 12,036 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 77 in Macao (75 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 16,456 in Taiwan (848 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
