China has delivered nearly 38 million COVID-19 booster shots, a health official said on Saturday.
Wu Liangyou, deputy director of the National Health Commission's disease prevention and control bureau, said local governments are requested to arrange key groups, including airport, port and health workers as well as the elderly, to receive booster shots as soon as possible.
As of Friday, China had administered more than 2.31 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines and fully inoculated 1.07 billion people.
