On Nov 6, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 74 new cases of confirmed infections (24 imported cases, 9 in Yunnan province, 3 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Guangdong province, 2 in Liaoning province, 2 in Shaanxi province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Fujian province, 1 in Shandong province, 1 in Henan province and 1 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, including 3 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 1 in Liaoning, 1 in Fujian and 1 in Guangdong; 50 indigenous cases, 21 in Hebei province including 18 in Xinji and 3 in Shijiazhuang, 9 in Dalian, Liaoning, 6 in Heihe, Heilongjiang province, 4 in Chengdu, Sichuan province, 3 in Henan including 2 in Zhengzhou and 1 in Zhoukou, 3 in Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture, Yunnan, 2 in Lanzhou, Gansu province, 1 in Shangrao, Jiangxi province and 1 in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, including 3 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 2 in Sichuan and 1 in Henan), 2 new cases of suspected infections (both were imported cases in Shanghai), and no deaths. 46 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 1,362 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. As of 24:00 on Nov 6, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 9,736 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 9,353 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 383 confirmed cases (including 3 cases in serious condition) and 3 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 6, the National Health Commission had received reports of 97,734 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 91,929 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,169 confirmed cases (including 32 cases in serious condition) and 3 suspected cases. 1,277,806 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 48,133 were still under medical observation.

On Nov 6, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 35 new asymptomatic cases (14 imported cases; 21 indigenous cases, 8 in Dalian, Liaoning, 4 in Shangrao, Jiangxi, 3 in Henan including 2 in Zhengzhou and 1 in Zhoukou, 2 in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, 2 in Chengdu, Sichuan and 2 in Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture, Yunnan). 20 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 18 imported cases) and 6 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 3 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Nov 6, 442 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 337 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 6, 28,882 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 12,367 in Hong Kong (213 had died and 12,036 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 77 in Macao (75 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 16,438 in Taiwan (847 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
