On Nov 4, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 78 new cases of confirmed infections (10 imported cases, 3 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 1 in Tianjin municipality, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Guangdong province and 1 in Yunnan province, including 1 confirmed case converting from an asymptomatic case in Guangxi; 68 indigenous cases, 28 in Heihe, Heilongjiang province, 10 in Hebei province including 9 in Shijiazhuang and 1 in Xinji, 8 in Dalian, Liaoning, 5 in Zhengzhou, Henan province, 5 in Gansu province including 4 in Lanzhou and 1 in Tianshui, 4 in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 2 in Alshaa League, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Shangrao, Jiangxi province, 2 in Chengdu, Sichuan province, 1 in Zunyi, Guizhou province and 1 in Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture, Yunnan, including 4 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases in Henan), 1 new case of suspected infections (an imported case in Shanghai), and no deaths. 29 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 1,990 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases increased by 1.

As of 24:00 on Nov 4, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 9,697 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 9,324 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 373 confirmed cases (including 2 cases in serious condition) and 4 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 4, the National Health Commission had received reports of 97,605 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 91,840 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,129 confirmed cases (including 37 cases in serious condition) and 4 suspected cases. 1,272,333 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 45,386 were still under medical observation.

On Nov 4, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 42 new asymptomatic cases (20 imported cases; 22 indigenous cases, 9 in Zhengzhou, Henan, 8 in Dalian, Liaoning, 3 in Shangrao, Jiangxi and 2 in Chongqing municipality including 1 in Shapingba district and 1 in Yubei district). 17 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 14 imported cases) and 5 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 1 imported case). As of 24:00 on Nov 4, 426 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 348 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Nov 4, 28,866 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 12,359 in Hong Kong (213 had died and 12,035 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 77 in Macao (75 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 16,430 in Taiwan (847 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
