Ambassador of Iraq to China: Trade growth will be very impressive

Foreign trade between China and Iraq reached $30 billion in 2020. "The foreign trade growth between China and Iraq will be very impressive if current momentum continues," said Shorsh Khalid Said, the ambassador of Iraq to China.

He expressed his appreciation to Chinese companies for their contribution to the rebuilding of Iraqi cities. Many Chinese enterprises have invested in Iraq, not only in the energy sector, but also in the construction of infrastructure, he noted.

“Our economic ties will surely continue to grow," he added.
