China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, which has been held annually in Southwest China's Guizhou province for the past 13 years, has contributed to the opening-up of education in Guizhou.
Statistics show that by the end of 2020, the number of international students in Guizhou had increased from dozens of people in 2008 to more than 4,000 people, 70 percent of whom were from ASEAN countries.
China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week promotes communication between China and ASEAN countries in higher education, vocational education, and basic education, and has become an influential platform for educational exchange.
More international youths have learned about Guizhou and China through China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week.
This year's China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week will be held on Sept 23-29 and will include seven activities themed around vocational education.
It will also launch a cloud platform to allow China and ASEAN's vocational schools to develop courses that meet international standards and development needs.
