SAIC Maxus, a subsidiary of China's SAIC Motor, established a facility on Friday for its consumers to participate in car production.
The facility, called a co-building center, allows its consumers to learn about its latest products and their smart functions and enables them to discuss with engineers what they think about these products and functions.
SAIC Maxus has been known for the flexibility consumers can have when ordering vehicles. On its app, consumers can tailor their models and make them unique.
Since November, it has placed an after-sales service app online, which enables its vehicle owners to have their problems fixed easily.
The carmaker said over 100,000 consumers have asked questions online by the end of September 2021.
SAIC Maxus since its establishment a decade ago has sold over 600,000 vehicles, with its products available in 52 countries and regions around the globe.
