Dangzhou Grasslands

With open terrain and plenty of sunshine, the Dangzhou Grasslands are situated in Gannan Tibet autonomous prefecture of Gansu province in northwestern China. They feature exuberant forests and wild flowers and have developed into a tourist attraction with well-established infrastructure.
The annual Xiangbala Tourist and Art Festival has been nourished there and become a local cultural calling card since its premiere in 2000. Every summer, the festival adds charm and vitality to the Dangzhou Grasslands, with the featured Guozhuang Dance by 2,000 people, lively ethnic costume shows, exciting bonfire parties, and captivating Tibetan drama and sport games.
