Wumeng Grand Grasslands
乌蒙大草原
A renowned part of the Wumeng National Geopark, the Wumeng Grand Grasslands are located in the Panzhou city of Guizhou province and feature amazing plateau mountainous landforms. One of the largest and highest altitude highland meadows in Southwest China, the grasslands are known for their rich natural and cultural resources such as pastures, lakes, cliffs, waterfalls, a vast azalea flower sea, valleys and karst caves, as well as the indigenous Yi ethnic folk culture.
The breathtaking anticorona phenomena on the Wumeng Grasslands, which usually occur on spring, summer and autumn afternoons, are a hot attraction compelling visitors to come and appreciate the beauty of this wonderful place.
