An expo focusing on promoting health and beauty industry cooperation among China, Japan, and South Korea opened in Yantai, Shandong province on Sept 23.
At the opening ceremony, Yantai signed agreements for six key projects from Japan and South Korea, with a total investment of $130 million, spanning fields like biotechnology, health products production and processing, as well as high-end medical rehabilitation equipment.
The 1.86-hectare expo area is divided into six exhibition areas, covering medical cosmetology, health management, biomedicine, medical finance, international brands, and beauty care, to exhibit nearly 200 health management agencies, genetic testing institutions, plastic surgery institutions, biopharmaceutical companies, Japanese skincare companies, as well as beauty equipment manufacturers from China, Japan, and South Korea.
Co-organized by the China Health Care Association, the Chinese Association of Plastics and Aesthetics, as well as the Yantai municipal bureau of commerce, the expo will run for three days and is expected to attract over 3,000 purchasers.
