2 key projects in Huangpu making great headway

Two key projects in Guangzhou's Huangpu district have made great headway recently.

Xpeng Motors' Guangzhou smart manufacturing base has been topped off in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City. Construction of the project began west of Chuangxin Avenue and north of Guangzhou-Heyuan Expressway in September 2020. Once operational, it will be able to produce 100,000 automobiles annually.

In the meantime, the design and construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area youth entrepreneurship science and technology park were entrusted to South China Company of China Construction Third Bureau First Engineering.

Located in Guangzhou Science City, the project will focus on scientific and technological innovation, high-end service and the headquarters economy as well as offer office buildings, apartments, business and public support facilities to Hong Kong and Macao youth.
