A cargo plane filled with goods, including auto parts and COVID-19 testing kits, departed from Changchun Longjia International Airport in Changchun, Jilin province, for Frankfurt, Germany, late on Thursday, Changchun Daily reported.
The flight, which includes a stopover in Moscow, Russia, marked the official launch of a cargo-only route from Changchun to Russia and Germany.
Two flights will be conducted weekly to meet demand for various types of goods under different trade models, including cross-border e-commerce and general trade.
Flights are expected to play an important role in cooperation between the automotive and equipment manufacturing industries in Northeast China and Europe.
