Ji'an in Tonghua city, Northeast China's Jilin province, promoted its tourist attractions and characteristic tourism products and routes during a promotional event held on Sept 10, welcoming tourists nationwide, according to local media reports.
Ji'an, located on the banks of the Yalu River, is a well-known tourist city in China and the location of a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Capital Cities and Tombs of the Ancient Koguryo Kingdom.
Ji'an has unique and plentiful tourist attractions, including Koguryo Ruins Park, Wunyufeng National Forest Park, Yunfeng Lake Scenic Area, and Qianwan village.
The promotional event also saw the signing of cooperation agreements by Ji'an Tourism Development Group and representatives of travel agencies, in a move to boost the city's tourism industry development.
